"Kings of Hallyu" TVXQ has risen to 1st place on the Oricon Monthly Album Charts.
TVXQ recorded a 1st place on the Oricon Monthly Album Charts which were revealed on 9 April. With their new work "Tree" released on 5 March, they ascended the throne as the singers who had sold the most albums in the month of March. Their sales were approximately 252,155 copies.

They also created a new record simultaneously. Their album this time around sold about 225,000 copies in the first week of sales. Following their previous works "Tone" and "Time", this is the 3rd consecutive time they have broken through the 200,000 barrier in the first week of sales. This is also a new record for foreign artistes. Prior to this in 2001, Bon Jovi had created a record of breaking the 200,000 barrier with 2 consecutive pieces of work.

[OSEN=Park Hyun Min] A group TVXQ! won 1st place on Oricon monthly album chart with the new album ‘TREE’.
Their new album in Japan ‘TREE’ that was released on March 5th won 1st place on Oricon daily album chart the day of its release and has a case of rising to the top on the weekly chart also. It also won 1st (Announced on April 9th) on Oricon monthly album chart, which calculated the number of albums sold in March, and proved high popularity in Japan once more.
Especially, this particular album recorded about 225,000 in amount of albums sold just on the first week of its release and set a new record of exceeding 200,000 on the first week for 3 works in a row after the previous works ‘TONE’ and ‘TIME’. This result is the one that broke the record by Bon Jovi, who set the most amount of record in the history of foreign group, of exceeding 200,000 for 2 works in a row in 13 years and 10 months and has a case of proving the dignity and ability to influence of TVXQ!, who became the top artist in Japan also.
In this album, 14 songs of various genres including singles songs such as ‘Hide & Seek’, ‘Something’ and ‘SCREAM’ and so on, and can feel TVXQ!’s diverse charms and it was also released in Korea on April 2nd.
Also starting with Yokohama performance on April 22nd, they are going to hold ‘LIVE TOUR 2014 ~TREE~’ that is going to have 29 sets of performances and goes to 10 cities of Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Miyagi, Sapporo, Fukui, Niigata, Fukuoka and Hiroshima and so on and are expecting to mesmerize the local fans with the best performance that has high level of completion.
